This is to inform you that the Annual General Body Meeting of the All India Rhinology Society (AIRS) will be held during the 37th Annual Conference in Guwahati.

AGENDA

1. To adopt the minutes of the last General Body Meeting held in Chennai.

2. Condolence resolution, if any.

3. Report of the Hony. Secretary.

4. Report of the Hony. Treasurer.

5. Admission of new members.

6. To consider proposals received during the year:
   a) To consider proposals for hosting the conference for the year 2028.

7. Approval of amendments, if any, to the Constitution of the Society.

8. Election of new office-bearers, if required.

9. Installation of the new office-bearers.

10. Any other matter with the permission of the Chair.

ELECTION NOTICE FOR THE GOVERNING BODY

ALL INDIA RHINOLOGY SOCIETY – YEAR 2026–2027

Notice is hereby given inviting nominations from members of AIRS for the following posts of the Governing Body for the year 2026–27. Elections will be held as per the election guidelines laid down in the AIRS Constitution.

Posts:

• President-Elect: One post

• Vice President: One post

• Joint Secretary: One post

• Governing Body Members: Ten posts

Eligibility

1. President-Elect: Minimum 5 years of membership and at least one tenure as a Governing Body Member.

2. Vice President: Minimum 5 years of membership and at least one tenure as a Governing Body Member.

3. Joint Secretary: Minimum 5 years of membership and at least one tenure as a Governing Body Member.

4. Governing Body Member: Minimum 2 years of membership.

AIRS scientific committee meeting at Chandigarh 20.09.2026

 Professor Ashok Kumar Gupta, Dr. Atul Jain, Dr. Sanjay Sood, Dr. Ajay Jain, Dr. Rahul Aggarwal, Dr. Divya Aggarwal deliberated on scientific content for upcoming Rhinocon. 

The meeting started with the presentation of a case of Nasopharyngeal Angiofibroma by a DNB student. The students and faculty members posing for group photograph after the meeting.
